Poetry crimes is a radio and online collection of twelve original Australian poems that explore the themes of crime and justice. Each poet is recorded reading their poems, and interviewed, by Johanna Featherstone, about their writing and the project's theme. The recordings are broadcast nationally through the community radio satellite and online, following the interviewing and recording of each poet. Poetry crimes is also distributed to international radio stations via the net and CD.

In May Poetry Crimes will stage a live event featuring the poets at the Justice and police museum, as part of the 2005 Sydney Writers' Festival.
